Options for beauty products for people of color are few and far between. At cosmetic counters in department stores, the founder of ÎLE NOIRE noticed that quality products are basically non-existent. There are less than a handful of cosmetics lines created for black women. Throughout her life, the founder of ÎLE NOIRE found it difficult to locate make-up and other cosmetics that matched her complexion. That is why ILE Noir was created. It is a product that embodies diversity and acknowledges that different skin tones have different needs.
